Pumpkin Patch Season in Vancouver

Gloria Visting Laity Pumpkin Patch

(HealthCastle.com) It's October and nearing Halloween. What does that mean? Pumpkin season is on! This year, I had the chance to visit Laity Pumpkin Patch in Maple Ridge and it was a blast. Boy, the farm was busy with crowds! But because the farm and patch was just so vast in size, it never felt overcrowded at all. In addition to pick-your-own-pumpkin, there was also a corn maze and various family-friendly activities like a petting zoo. From a fantastic garden full of vegetables ready to be harvested to a children's themed forest walk, the Laity Farm spared no resources to try and make your kids' visit a memorable one. We even got a chance to take a tractor ride! I was hoping the tractor ride would take us throughout the farm but it was just a short ride in an enclosed area. I think there were too many people on the farm grounds so the longer ride may not have been be possible.

You cannot tell it rained hard the night before. It was absolutely a gorgeous fall afternoon for visiting a pumpkin patch. One of my highlight was seeing my first Brussels sprouts plant! See photo below. If you have never seen this plant before, you may be amazed.

Have you ever visited the Laity Pumpkin Patch or any other pumpkin patches?
